Heavy rain lashes out Chennai due to Vardah cyclone, normalcy of the people’s life being affected heavily.Popular Front social organizations cadres fully prepared to handle the situation. Cadres serving immediately to reduce the damages caused by natural disasters a humanly possible.
‘For past 2 week Chennai and cuddalor district was brutally affected by heavy rain and flood. From On that time now till POPULAR FRONT OF INDIA involve in all stage of rescue , relief and rehabilitation work. Now I show the few reports on our works(till Dec 10) Totally 4,500 volunteers works on this project. We rescue 5000 peoples from the flood. 2,16,157 peoples get our service from flood. Total expenditure in the flood relief work by Popular Front Of India is Rs.1,22,94,155 Till now the relief work of Popular Front is held continuously. In this time I extend my supplication to almighty to give his mercy and grace for those peoples works in the field and people who help us in the relief work’. J.
