    Kundapura, July 7, 2025: The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Udupi District organized a vibrant Brotherhood Football Match on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Sahana Sports, Kundapura, as a continuation of the Qur’anic Youth Camp organised in Bhatkal. The event brought together young athletes aged 15–18 from the Muslim communities of Gangolli, Kandlur, Mavinakatte, Shiroor, Uppinakote, and Brahmavar circles, promoting unity, brotherhood, and healthy competition.

    The football match, which commenced at 1:00 PM, featured teams of 5+1 players, either formed by participants or organized by event coordinators. Open to students in 9th, 10th, 1st PUC, 2nd PUC, and recent 2nd PUC graduates, the event saw enthusiastic participation. Teams were selected during the match to represent their respective circles at the upcoming District Level Football Tournament.

    The Brotherhood Football Match showcased the talent and spirit of the youth, reinforcing SIO’s commitment to fostering community bonds through sports.

    ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಮಲ್ಲಣ್ಣವರ್ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ, ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಗೆದ್ದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ “ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ” ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಮಲ್ಲಣ್ಣವರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಆ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ರಜೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂನ್ಮಾನಕರ ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಬಹುದು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಗೆದ್ದರೆ, ಉತ್ಸವಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಗುರುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಕ್ವಾಲಿಫೈಯರ್ 1 ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ, ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಸೂಪರ್ ಕಿಂಗ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಫೈನಲ್‌ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ 18 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಗೆದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಾಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

    ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಈ ಹಸ್ತಲಿಖಿತ ಪತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರವು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

  • ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೂಜಾಟದ ಆಟ: ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ

    ನವದೆಹಲಿ, ಮೇ 24, 2025: ಯುವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೂಜಾಟದ ಚಟವು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಮೇ 23 ರಂದು ಒಂದು ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಐಪಿಎಲ್‌ನ ಆಡಂಬರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಜೂಜಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೂಜು ಆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಗಮನಿಸಿದೆ. ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಜೂಜಾಟದ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯ ಅರ್ಜಿಯೊಂದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದೆ.

    ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎನ್. ಕೋಟೀಶ್ವರ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರ ತಂಡವು, ಕೆ. ಪಾಲ್ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಜೂಜಾಟ ಮತ್ತು ಜೂಜು ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರ ತಂಡವು, “ಐಪಿಎಲ್‌ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಜನರು ಜೂಜಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೂಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಗಂಭೀರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.

    ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರು, ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ನಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಈ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಜೂಜಾಟದತ್ತ ಆಕರ್ಷಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿಗರೇಟ್ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆಯ ಹಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಜೂಜಾಟದ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪಾಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಾಲ್, “ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಪೋಷಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ 25 ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟಾಲಿವುಡ್ ತಾರೆಯರು/ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮುಗ್ಧರ ಜೀವನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಟವಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ 1023 ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುವುದು ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.

    ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರ ತಂಡವು, ಇದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿತನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮರ್ಥತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿತು. ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತ್, “ನಾವು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದು? ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಬೇಕು… ಆದರೆ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಇದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ತಪ್ಪು ಭಾವನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀರಿ,” ಎಂದರು. “ನಾವು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯಲಾಗದಂತೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾನೂನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಜೂಜಾಟ ಅಥವಾ ಜೂಜು ಆಡದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

    ಕೆಲವು ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಸಹ ಈ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಜೂಜಾಟದ ಚಟ ಹಿಡಿಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಪಾಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರ ತಂಡವು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿತು. ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಟಾರ್ನಿ ಜನರಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಲಿಸಿಟರ್ ಜನರಲ್‌ರ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನೂ ಕೋರಿದೆ.

  • ಐಪಿಎಲ್ 2025: ಭಾರತ-ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಗಡಿ ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಗಿತ

    ಐಪಿಎಲ್ 2025 ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ನಡುವಿನ ಗಡಿ ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನತೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಹೊರಬೀಳುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಇದೆ.

    ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಕಿಂಗ್ಸ್ (ಪಿಬಿಕೆಎಸ್) ಮತ್ತು ದೆಹಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಪಿಟಲ್ಸ್ (ಡಿಸಿ) ನಡುವಿನ ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಮೊದಲ ಇನ್ನಿಂಗ್ಸ್‌ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಬಿಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಧರ್ಮಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೀಪದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ಪಿಬಿಕೆಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಸಿ ತಂಡದ ಆಟಗಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು.

    ಐಪಿಎಲ್ 2025 ಈಗ 58 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಬಿಡಲಾದ ಪಂದ್ಯವೂ ಸೇರಿದೆ. ಗುಂಪು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ 12 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳು ಬಾಕಿಯಿವೆ. ಇವು ಲಕ್ನೋ (2), ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್, ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್ (3), ದೆಹಲಿ, ಚೆನ್ನೈ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (2), ಮುಂಬೈ, ಜೈಪುರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ. ಇದಾದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ಲೇಆಫ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳು ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜನೆಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ.

    ಕನ್ನಡ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಠವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಲ್ಲ, ಸಂವಹನ ಕಲೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
