The form, titled “Anonymous Drug Complaint & Support Form (Students / PG Residents) | Udupi Police,” enables users to report various issues, including drug sales, usage, peer pressure, suspicious activities, and storage or delivery of drugs. It also provides options to refer individuals for counseling and support, catering to those struggling with addiction or related challenges.

Udupi, July 28, 2025: Milagres College, Kallianpur, hosted a successful orientation program for its freshmen on July 28, 2025. The event began with a prayer song performed by Melissa Mendis and her team, creating a solemn and welcoming atmosphere.
Mrs. Shylet Mathais, IQAC Coordinator, warmly greeted the distinguished guests, new students, and their parents, setting the stage for an engaging and informative day.
In his address, Principal Dr. Vincent Alva underscored the importance of discipline, obtaining a driver’s license, and wearing helmets while riding bikes. He described the institution as driven by four key pillars—Management, Teachers, Students, and Parents—working together to ensure success. Dr. Alva also expressed appreciation for the alumni’s ongoing support and contributions to the college’s development.
The Correspondent of Milagres Institutions, Fr. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, delivered the presidential address, extending a heartfelt welcome to the freshers and their families. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ 4 ರಿಂದ 10 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮಳೆಯಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಭಾನುವಾರ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 6.5 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮಳೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಂಜಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 73.5 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಕ್ಲಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 70 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮಳೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇವು ಎರಡೂ 70 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮೀರಿವೆ.

ಕುಂದಾಪ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ರವಿವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಲಗೋರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಇರುವ ಊರು ಕುಂದಾಪುರ. ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿಶೂರು ಭಾಗದ ಮಲಯಾಳಿ ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೂ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ತ್ರಿಶೂರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಎಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ಎನ್ನುವ ಭಾವನೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿದೆ. ನನಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸಿದ ಕುಂದಾಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಬಾರಿ ಬರುವಾಗಲೂ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಯ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಭಾವನೆ ನನ್ನದು. ನನ್ನ ಆಡು ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕುಂದಾಪ್ರ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಅನೇಕ ಶಬ್ದಗಳು ಹಾಸು ಹೊಕ್ಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಊರು ಎಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಕ್ಕರೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಲಗೋರಿ ಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆಂಡು ಹೊಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಹರಿರಾಂ ಶಂಕರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆ.ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಅವರು ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಕುಂದಾಪ್ರ ಭಾಷಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು, ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಉಳಿಯಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿದ ಲಗೋರಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಕುಂದಾಪ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಅರಿಯದವನರು ಸಹ, ಈ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದೇಈ ಭಾಷೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂಕೇತ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ, ಕುಂದಗನ್ನಡ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಪೀಠದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಕೆ.ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಗಳು ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಸೆದು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವುದರರಿಂದ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅಬ್ಬಿ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭಾವನೆಗಳು ಬೆಳೆದು ಭಾಷೆಗಳು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತದೆ.
ಇನ್ನು, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಪೀಠದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಕೆ.ಸಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಷತ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ.ಉಮೇಶ್ ಪುತ್ರನ್, ಎಸ್ಬಿಐ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಕಾರವಾರದ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪ್ರಬಂದಕ ಮುರಳೀಧರ, ಯುವಜನಸೇವಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕುಸುಮಾಕರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಜಿಲಾ ಸ್ವಿತೀಯ ಉಪಗವರ್ನರ್ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನ್, ಬೈಂದೂರು ಕಂಬಳ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದೀಪಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಕಿರಣ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಉದಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಬೈಂದೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 21, 2025: ಬೈಂದೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನಾವುಂದ ಗ್ರಾಮದ 74 ವರ್ಷದ ಗಣಪ ರವರು ಜುಲೈ 19, 2025ರ ಸಂಜೆ 6:00 ಗಂಟೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ವಾಪಸ್ಸಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ (48) ರವರು ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ನೆರೆ-ಕೆರೆ, ನಾವುಂದ ಪೇಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಗಣಪ ರವರ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಬೈಂದೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕ್ರಮಾಂಕ 138/2025ರಡಿ “ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕಾಣೆ” ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಜುಲೈ 21,2025: ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರದ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಪಂಚಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೊಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಯುವನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ 2024-25 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸದೇ ಇರುವ ಅರ್ಹ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಗಸ್ಟ್ 7 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಯುವನಿಧಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಒನ್, ಗ್ರಾಮ ಒನ್, ಸೇವಾ ಸಿಂಧೂ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರದ ಮಣಿಪಾಲದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕಛೇರಿ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ಬಿ. ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ರೂ. ನಂಬರ್ 201 ಮೊದಲನೆ ಮಹಡಿಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
2024-25 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪದವಿ, ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ (ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ) ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಪಡೆದು ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಅರ್ಹರಿಗೆ ಯುವನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು 3,000 ರೂ. (ಪದವೀಧರ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ) ಹಾಗೂ 1,500 ರೂ. (ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಪಡೆದ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ) ನೇರ ನಗದು ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ಜಮಾ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ: ಯುವನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳು ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕ (ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ) ಮೇ, ಅಗಸ್ಟ್, ನವಂಬರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ಮಾಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 25 ನೇ ತಾರೀಕಿನ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಗಿನ್ ಆಗಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಘೋಷಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.
ಸ್ವಯಂ ಘೋಷಣೆ ನೀಡದ್ದಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ತಿಂಗಳ ನೇರ ನಗದು ಖಾತೆಗೆ ಜಮೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳು ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಸೇವಾ ಸಿಂಧೂ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಘೋಷಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ದೂ.ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: 0820-2574869 ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 21, 2025: ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಾಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಪ್ರಾಪ್ತ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಆಮಿಷವೊಡ್ಡಿ, ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ, ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಿದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಲ್ಕಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಬಡಗುಬೆಟ್ಟುವಿನ ಬಸ್ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ದೀಪಕ್ (19) ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಅತ್ರಾಡಿಯ ಪರ್ಕಳದ ಭಟ್ರಿಪಾಲ್ಕೆ ನಿವಾಸಿ ನವೀನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (21) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಜುಲೈ 19 ರಂದು ಬಪ್ಪನಾಡು ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಕೂಟರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ಉಡುಪಿಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮುಲ್ಕಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
