ದಮಾಮ್: ಸೌದಿ ಅರೇಬಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಸಿ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಗಡಿ ಭದ್ರತಾ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೌದಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು 17,153 ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸೌದಿ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಏಜೆನ್ಸಿ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

WhatsApp is now in the process of rolling out new updates to both its Android and iOS versions. The WhatsApp for iOS version 2.18.41 and WhatsApp for Android version 2.18.116 brings the much-delayed ‘Dismiss as Admin‘ feature which allows a fellow administrator to remove the admin rights of another admin. WhatsApp was said to be testing this feature back in January 2018, for Android users, and it was briefly rolled out as well for some users, but today, the company is rolling out the feature to all the users with some new changes. The major motive of this feature is to make the process of removing admin rights easier because earlier if a user wanted to revoke the admin access of a person, they have to remove the person from the group first and add the person again. That was a cumbersome process, but thankfully WhatsApp solved this issue and now users can remove admin rights of a person with just one tap.
To test this feature, users should head over to the Group Info section and tap the person’s profile, which will display the Dismiss as Admin’ option. Pressing that option will revoke the admin rights for that person. As stated, WhatsApp has made some improvements to the feature. Earlier, when the feature got rolled out to some Android users, they were able to revoke the admin rights of the group creator, but now it’s not possible as per WABetaInfo. If a user tries to remove the admin access to a group creator, it will show the error as the person has created the group, hence the rights can’t be revoked.
WABetaInfo also added that a user could revoke the admin rights from the WhatsApp Web version also. We didn’t get a chance to test this feature on iOS platform, but we did test this on Android platform. Firstly, the latest WhatsApp Beta version 2.18.118 doesn’t have this feature, and we installed the stable version of WhatsApp 2.18.116, which surprisingly showed up the ‘Dismiss as Admin’ feature. It worked as we mentioned above, no issues whatsoever.
Also, with the latest WhatsApp Beta 2.18.118 version, the instant messaging platform has added ‘High Priority Notifications’ feature, which displays WhatsApp notifications on top of your notification centre when enabled. This feature is hidden under the Notifications section in the WhatsApp Settings screen.
ATTENTION:
You need to update your WhatsApp version to the 2.18.41 iOS update on AppStore and to the 2.18.116 Android web update, available in the official WhatsApp page, in order to remotely receive the activation of the feature.
Precedent iOS versions might get the feature, but it’s very recommended to update to this update. About Android, it’s necessary the latest web version and the feature should be also available in next Google Play Stable version too very soon.

According to a report byWABetaInfo, this feature is available for WhatsApp’s Android users. Earlier, Android users could download data that was up to 30 days old, but that data would disappear once the file was downloaded by the recipient.
Given Facebook’s situation right now, the privacy implications of this move immediately stand out. While earlier, there was an assumption of privacy in that it was possible that Facebook deleted files after they were downloaded. Now, it’s quite clear that for the system to work, Facebook will need to store this data indefinitely. Facebook does claim that all media files are encrypted, so there is at least some solace to be found there.
To be clear, only those messages that are still in your chat log will be downloadable again. If the message has been deleted, that data is gone. The app will also check if the file is available in the ‘sdcard/WhatsApp/‘ directory before downloading the file. There will be no changes when it comes to end-to-end encryption of the media messages. This feature is not available for iOS users because it is unlikely that users will delete anything from the internal file directory without access.
WhatsApp also posted a new FAQ (frequently asked questions) to clarify the use of end-to-end encryption for messages sent to a business via WhatsApp. The social media giant explained that the messages are encrypted and that no unauthorised entity, not even Facebook, has access to the data. They did clarify, however, that anyone with access to that account will be able to see the messages and that it was the responsibility of the business to handle your messages “in accordance with its privacy policy.”

Republic Day of India is celebrated annually on 26th of January since 1950. It is celebrated by the Indian people all over the India to honor and remember the date on which Indian Constitution came into force.
The Constitution of India was adopted on 26th of November in 1949 by the Constituent Assembly.
However, it came into effect on 26th of January in 1950. On the same date, the Government of India Act (1935) was replaced as the governing document of India. The Constitution of India came into force with a democratic government system.
This date was chosen to adopt the Indian Constitution as Declaration of Indian Independence (means Purna Swaraj) was declared by the Indian National Congress in 1930. Republic Day is a national holiday in India which means a lot to the people of India.
Cash withdrawal limit increased to Rs. 10,000 per day starting tomorrow
Weekly withdrawal limit of Rs. 24,000 per bank account remains unchanged
Weekly withdrawal amount for current accounts doubled to Rs. 1 lakh.
Starting tomorrow, you can pull out 10,000 per day from an ATM, though a weekly limit of 24,000 per bank account remains unchanged. The RBI has increased the daily limit for ATM withdrawals from Rs. 4,500 which has been in place for a few weeks now.

From current accounts, the amount that can be collected each week has been doubled to a lakh. Limits of access to cash were declared on November 8 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the shock announcement that 500- and 1,000- rupee notes would be illegal just a few hours later. The demonetisation drive, he said, would check tax evasion, corruption and counterfeiting. A huge cash crunch followed, driving millions of Indians into long lines at banks, and the PM in an emotional speech asked for “just 50 days” till December 30 to resolve problems. After the new year, the scarcity of notes has eased up, though the opposition has said the government has defaulted on its PM because cash restrictions remain in place and, according to most estimates, virtually all the banned notes have been deposited in banks, meaning that black money has not been destroyed or forced out. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has pointed to improved tax collections to dismiss reports of economic disruption after the notes ban. The shock decision on abolishing high-denomination notes prompted most private economists to slash growth forecasts to 6.3-6.4 per cent for the fiscal year 2016/17 from over 7.5 per cent, citing the impact of the demonetisation, which they said would linger for one more year, but the government has called those concerns unfounded. The Finance Ministry’s Statistics Office has predicted strong economic growth in the current fiscal year that ends in March. Gross Domestic Product is estimated to expand by an annual 7.1 per cent in the current fiscal year, slower than a provisional growth of 7.6 per cent in 2015/16. But the forecast does not fully take into account the impact of the notes ban. On Friday, Urjit Patel, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, has been summoned by a parliamentary committee to explain how the demonetisation decision was taken as also to outline its impact. In a written answer ahead of his appearance, the central bank has stated that it was the government which “advised” that 500 and 1,000-rupee notes be removed from circulation, which was then cleared by the RBI the next day. The PM announced demonetisation just 24 hours after that. The RBI has been criticised for following the government’s lead on a landmark decision on currency and for taking a backseat in the days that followed, with Mr Patel missing from briefings that made important announcements on issues like cash limits.
