    ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿ ಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕುಖ್ಯಾತ 4 ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಂದ 7 ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
    ಬಂಧಿತರನ್ನು ಕದ್ರಿ ಶಿವಬಾಗ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಅಫ್ರಿಮ್ ಶಿಯಾದ್ (20), ಕಾಟಿಪಳ್ಳ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಹಂಝ (19), ಬಾಲಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ (37), ಫರಂಗಿಪೇಟೆ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ (20) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
    ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 23 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ತ್ರಿಶೂಲೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಂದಾಣೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಿರದ ರೋಯಲ್ ಎನ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅನುಮಾನಸ್ಪದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಳವುಗೈದ ಒಟ್ಟು 7 ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರವಾಹನಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ರೋಯಲ್ ಎನ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಬುಲೆಟ್-1, ಯಮಹಾ ಫ್ ಝೆಡ್-3, ಹೀರೋ ಹೊಂಡಾ ಸ್ಲ್ಪೆಂಡರ್-1,, ಯಮಹಾ-1 ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ಅಕ್ಟಿವಾ ಹೊಂಡಾ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂದು ರೋಯಲ್ ಎನ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಬುಲೆಟ್, ಹಾಗೂ ಯಮಹಾ ಎಫ್ ಝೆಡ್ ಬೈಕ್ ನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು 10 ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಅಡ್ಯಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೇರ್ಲಪದವುನಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಬೈಕ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಳವು ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ 7 ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ 5 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೌಲ್ಯ ರೂ. 4,67,000/- ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
    ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಅಫ್ರಿಮ್ ಶಿಯಾದ್ ಎಂಬಾತನು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ 2015 ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಕ್ ಕಳವು, ಸರಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮುಂತಾದ 20 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವನನ್ನು 2015 ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದಸ್ತಗಿರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈಗ ಸುಮಾರು 10 ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಜಾಮೀನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಪುನಃ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಕ್ ಕಳ್ಳತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆರೋಪಿ ಹಂಝ ಎಂಬಾತನು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸರಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈತನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬದಿಯಡ್ಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಬೈಕ್ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದಸ್ತಗಿರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವನು ಸುಮಾರು 2 ವಾರದ ಹಿಂದೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಜಾಮೀನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಇನ್ನೋರ್ವ ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಾಲಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಎಂಬಾತನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಜ್ಪೆ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಪೂರ್ವ, ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 6 ಮನೆ ಕನ್ನ ಕಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
    ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಘಟಕದ ಇನ್ಸ್ ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸುನೀಲ್ ವೈ ನಾಯಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿ.ಎಸ್.ಐ ಶ್ಯಾಮ್ ಸುಂದರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

  • Seven year old Bhatkali boy comes under wheel in Dubai, dies

    Dubai: A seven-year-old boy was crushed to death by the wheels of a car when he was crossing the road at Murshid Bazar in Deira Dubai on Saturday.

    The deceased has been identified as Yalah S/o Maulavi Yusha Mohtisham. According to sources the boy Yalah was returning back to home on his cycle after attending a class from Irani bazar,
    when this tragic incident took place near Masjid Jamiul Iman.

    It is said that the car first climbed on boy’s leg and when people yelled for caution the car driver got confused and suddenly reversed his car, due to which the wheel of the car climbed on the boy’s head. The boy died on the spot.
     The father of the boy Yusha who was living near the place rushed to the spot, but his son had already taken his last breath.

     It is reported that the boy Yalah was studying in Our Own High School in Dubai in second standard. He was the youngest among the four children of Yusha.

     The body of Yalah has been taken to Raashid Hospital soon after the accident, and was later shifted to Al-Qiyadah. It is beleived that the body will be handed over to the family in the morning after all legal procedures complete.

    ಡುಕ್ಕಿ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 25 : ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾಲ್ತುಳಿತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, 20 ಜನರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಾಲ್ವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಚಿಂತಾಜನಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ಹೊರರಾಜ್ಯದವರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.ಕಾಲ್ತುಳಿತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಪ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇಗುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತರ ಚಲನವಲನವನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2011ರ ಜನವರಿ 15ರಂದು ಇಡುಕ್ಕಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪುಲಮೇಡು ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀಪೊಂದು ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರುಳಿ, ನಂತರ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲ್ತುಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ 104 ಜನ ಸತ್ತು 40 ಭಕ್ತರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ 30 ಭಕ್ತರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

    Mangaluru: ISIS suspect Munaf Rehman was released after an investigation by the NIA on Sunday here in Mangaluru city.

    The suspect was arrested on suspicious ISIS link on Friday at Mangaluru international airport when he was on his way to abroad via Mangaluru airport. After an investigation by NIA, it has been decide to release the suspect after obtaining a bond from him. The suspect is from Kerala state and is residing in Mangaluru city with his wife. The accused was attracted to ISIS philosophy and was planning to join the terrorist group, the sources said.

  • Bhatkal: 12-year-old boy feared drowned, two others rescued

    Bhatkal, Dec 24: One youngster is feared drowned while two others were rescued at Tengungundi beach here on Saturday December 24.

    Ratan Irappa Naik, Nagendra Tipayya Naik and Puneet Kamlakar Moger, all aged 12, were carried away by the currents when they went to play at the beach after lunch. It is learnt that there was a puja programme at Ratan’s house, to which Puneet and Tippayya were also invited. After lunch, the three boys decided to go to the beach. All three were pulled away by the strong currents. Luckily, a few fishermen who were on a boat noticed two boys struggling in the water and rushed to their rescue. With the help of the locals, Puneet and Tippayya were brought to safety, while Ratan went missing. The boys are students of 8th standard at Tengungundi Government School. After initial treatment in Bhatkal Government Hospital, they were shifted to Kundapur. Search operation is on for Ratan. Ratan is the only son of Irappa Naik. A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
