    ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 21: ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಗುರುಪುರ ಕೈಕಂಬ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕಂದಾವರದ ಮೂಡುಕರೆ ಬೈಲುಮಾಗಣೆ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಧೂಮಾವತಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸಮೀಪ ಇರುವ ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದನದ ರುಂಡ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ದನದ ರುಂಡವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ



    ಘಟನೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಈ ಕುಕೃತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಯಿತು. ಭಜರಂಗದಳದ ಮುಖಂಡ ಭುಜಂಗ ಕುಲಾಲ್ ಸಮೇತ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಬಜ್ಪೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಂದಾವರ ಮೂಡುಕೆರೆ ಬೈಮಾಗಣೆಯ ಧೂಮಾವತಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿರುವುದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಭಜರಂಗದಳ ಹರಿಹಾಯ್ದಿದ್ದು.

    ರುಂಡವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದಂತಿದ್ದು ರುಂಡ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದೆ, ಯಾರ ಕೃತ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ದನವನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಕದ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಬಳಿ ಕಡಿದು ಅದರ ರುಂಡವನ್ನು ಅಶ್ವತಕಟ್ಟೆ ಬಳಿ ಎಸೆದಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಜ್ಪೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರುಂಡವನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಹೂಡೆ: ಸಾಲಿಹಾತ್ ಸಮೂಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಶಾಲಾ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬಲೂನುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸುದರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಜನಾಬ್ ಇರ್ಷಾದ್ ನೇಜಾರ್ ನೇರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.


    ಸೈಮ್ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ನ ಮಾಲಿಕರಾದ ಜನಾಬ್ ಸಾದೀಕ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಣ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೋಷಕರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದರು.
    ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಜನಾಬ್ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಅಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಾದೀರ್ ಮೊಯ್ದೀನ್, ಇಮ್ತಿಯಾಝ್ ಜಿ, ಹುಸೇನ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್, ಪ್ರೊ.ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಅಝೀಜ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅಸ್ಲಾಮ್ ಹೈಕಾಡಿ, ಆಡಾಳಿತಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಾಲಿಹಾತ್ ಸಮೂಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಬಾನಾ ಮಾಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಧನ್ಯವಾದವಿತ್ತರು. ಆಶಾಲತಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಬೀಹಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೀಯ ಪಿರಮಿಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ದೈಹಿಕ ಕಸರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

  • CBSE for making Class X board exams mandatory

    Board exams for Class X are set to become compulsory for all CBSE students from 2018 as CBSE’s governing body on “unanimously approved” a proposal in this regard.

    At the meeting of the CBSE governing body, its members agreed that from the academic session 2017-18, compulsory board exams should be introduced for all students of Class X, sources told PTI in New Delhi.

    The decision will now have to be approved by the government before it is implemented.

    Currently, it is optional for CBSE students to choose either the board exam or a school-based examination.

    HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar has in the past favoured making board exam compulsory for CBSE students as is the practice in all State boards.

    The sources said while there is a view that for the Class X Board exams, 80 per cent weightage will be given to the marks scored in examinations while 20 per cent weightage will be given to school-based evaluation.

    In another key decision, the CBSE has decided to recommend to the HRD Ministry that the three-language formula, under which Hindi, English and modern Indian language are taught, should be extended to class IX and X as well from the current VI to VIII, a source said.

    Officials added that the board also favoured sending a recommendation to the Centre that those languages which are listed in schedule VIII of the Constitution should be taught under the three-language formula while languages which are “purely foreign” should be taught as a “fourth language as an elective subject”.

    In the past the HRD Ministry-run Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) used to offer German as a third language, but the practice was later discontinued.

    The final call on these decisions will be taken by the government, a senior official said.

    ಉಡುಪಿ: ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಹೇರೂರುಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿ ಬಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿ ಢಿಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಗಂಭೀರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಕುಂದಾಪುರದಿಂದ ಉಡುಪಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದುರ್ಗಾಂಬಾ ಬಸ್ಮತ್ತು ಮಣಿಪಾಲದಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಕಡೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಢಿಕ್ಕಿಯಾದವು. ಢಿಕ್ಕಿಯ ತೀವ್ರತೆಗೆ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಜ್ಜುಗುಜ್ಜಾಗಿದ್ದುಹರಸಾಹಸಪಟ್ಟು ಚಾಲಕನನ್ನು ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಯಿತು.

  • Bhatkal: Youth dies after bike skids

    Bhatkal: A 26-Year old youth, Muhammad Suhail Musbah, was reported dead on the spot, when a bike he was riding met with an unintentional skidding, leading to succumb to the injuries. The incident took place on 18th December, Sunday, late night around 12:45 AM on Sagar road near Gulmi cross in Bhatkal. The deceased youth has been traced as the resident of KHB colony in Bhatkal. According to the sources, it was said that, the incident took place when the deceased Suhail along with his other three friends was out for a party late night. As he was finding himself too late in the night, he decided to turn up for home, in which he drove up his bike in a speed of gale, leading to attempt unfortunate skidding of bike, which turned the situation to claim his life. Noticed this by his friends, immediately took his body to his home and rang-up for his brother for immediate attention over the incident. Later he was rushed to Bhatkal govt hospital, where he was finally declared dead. In this regard, a case has been registered in Bhatkal police station and further investigations are on.     ನವದೆಹಲಿ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 18: ಅಪನಗದೀಕರಣ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಪ್ಪು ತಿಮಿಂಗಿಲಗಳೇ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರತ್ ಮೂಲದ ಟೀ,ಬಜ್ಜಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿ, ಬಂಡವಾಳಗಾರ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಬಜಿಯಾವಾಲ ಐಟಿ ಅದಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಗಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವೇನೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ನಗದು, ಚಿನ್ನ, ಆಸ್ತಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಪತ್ರ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸೇರಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಕಿರುವುದು ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 400 ಕೋಟಿ. ಬಜಿಯಾವಾಲ ಸರಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಆಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಈಗ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ತೆರಿಗೆಯ ಐದರಷ್ಟು ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರೆ ಟೀ, ಬಜ್ಜಿ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರ ನಂತರ ಬಂಡವಾಳಶಾಹಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಬಜಿಯಾವಾಲಾ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರನಾಗಿ, ನಗರದ ಹಲವಾರು ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟಿ, ಕೋಟಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಅಗಾಧವಾದ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಹಣವನ್ನು ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಐಟಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬೇರೆ ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟಿನ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಹತ್ತರಂದು ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹವಾಲ ಕಿಂಗ ಪಿನ್ ಕೆ.ಸಿ.ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಬಚ್ಚಲಿನ ಗೋಪ್ಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 5.7 ಕೋಟಿ ಹೊಸನಗದು, 32ಕೆಜಿ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 152ಕೋಟಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಅದಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೊರಗೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರು.
