  • Intelligence Bureau Announces Massive Recruitment Drive; opportunity for candidates with a Class 10 qualification

    New Delhi, July 24, 2025 – The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has launched one of its largest recruitment drives for 2025, inviting applications for 4,987 Security Assistant/Executive (SA/Exe) positions.     2. Tier II: Descriptive/Translation test to assess proficiency in the local language.
    3. Tier III: Interview and personality assessment.

    Final selection will be based on performance across all tiers, followed by document verification and a mandatory medical examination.

  • Alva’s Pragati Job Fair to be Held on August 1-2

    Mangaluru, July 23, 2025 – The 15th edition of the Alva’s Pragati job fair, organized by the Alva’s Education Foundation, is scheduled to take place on August 1 and 2 at the Vidyagiri Campus in Moodubidire. The event aims to connect job seekers with top employers, with an expected participation of around 300 companies.

    ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೇ 25, 2025: ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದೇಶಿ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ “ದಿ ಲೆಜೆಂಡ್” ನಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾದ ಹಲವಾರು ಬಲಿಪಶುಗಳು, ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಭರವಸೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ ಹಣದ ಮರುಪಾವತಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳು ಈವರೆಗೆ ಒದಗಿಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ.

    ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಲೀನಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, 2021ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪೇನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಭರವಸೆಗಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಮತ್ತು 29 ಇತರರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಹಣ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. “ನಾನು ₹5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ₹2 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 2023ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಪೂರ್ವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ವಂಚನೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಸೇರಿಸಿದರು.

    ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಬಲಿಪಶು ಕ್ಸೇವಿಯರ್ ಮ್ಯಾಥಿಯಾಸ್, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾದ ಒಂದು ಫೈನಾನ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಭರವಸೆಗಾಗಿ ₹5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮರುಪಾವತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಗಿಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ವಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿ, ತನ್ನ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು, 2022ರಲ್ಲಿ ₹6 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಆದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ₹1 ಲಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಲವೀನಾ ಅರಾನ್ಹಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಕತಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ₹1.3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮರುಪಾವತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನಿತಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ 2021ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರಿಗೆ ನೆದರ್ಲೆಂಡ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ₹5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ.

    ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ₹1.3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದ ಬ್ರಾಂಡನ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ, ವಿದೇಶಿ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿಯ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ವಲಸೆ ರಕ್ಷಕರ (ಪ್ರೊಟೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಮಿಗ್ರಂಟ್ಸ್) ಪಾತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಪೊಲೀಸರು, “ದಿ ಲೆಜೆಂಡ್” ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ 2023ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಂಚನೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮಾಲೀಕ ಅಲ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಮೆಲ್ಲೊ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹಲವಾರು ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತನಿಖೆಯು ಇನ್ನೂ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
