Mangaluru, May 22, 2025: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Mangaluru campus, will host its 32nd convocation ceremony at the TMA Pai International Convention Centre on May 24, announced Dilip G. Naik, Pro Vice-Chancellor of MAHE, during a press conference on Thursday.
Abhijat Sheth, President of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will deliver the convocation address at 3 p.m.
A total of 1,367 candidates will receive their degrees, with 616 attending the ceremony in person and 751 receiving their degrees in absentia. According to B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, the majority of the graduates are from medical disciplines. Among those attending in person, 70 will receive PhD degrees, 285 will be undergraduates, and 261 will be postgraduates. Of those receiving degrees in absentia, 481 are undergraduates, 179 are postgraduates, and 91 are PhD holders.
The ceremony will also include the presentation of gold medals and recognition for meritorious students.
