  • Udupi: Three Arrested in Murder of AKMS Bus Owner Saifuddin

    Udupi, September 28, 2025 – Malpe police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of AKMS bus owner Saifuddin from Atradi.

    The arrested are Mohammed Faisal Khan (27) from Udupi Mission Compound, Mohammed Sharif (37) from Udupi Karambally Janata Colony, and Abdul Shukoor alias Addhu (43) from Surathkal Krishnapur.

    The accused were produced before the Udupi court. The operation was guided by DySP D.T. Prabhu and led by Circle Inspector Ramachandra Naik, with ASI Anil Kumar D. and staff from Malpe Police Station.

    Further details on the motive and investigation are awaited.

  • Karwar: Life Sentence for Murder Convict, Accomplices Get Three-Year Jail Term

    Karwar, September 1, 2025: The 1st Additional District and Sessions Court, Karwar (sitting at Sirsi), has sentenced Ibrahim, son of Mammadsab Shiggav (32), to life imprisonment and a fine of ₹10,000 for the brutal murder of businessman Mehboobali (51) from Mundgod. Two others, Shareef (38) and Nazia (24), who aided the crime, were sentenced to three years in prison and fined ₹3,000 each. The court also directed payment of ₹25,000 compensation to the victim’s wife, Bibi Ayesha.

    The case dates back to December 30–31, 2021, when Mehboobali was attacked with a sharp weapon, causing fatal head injuries. His body, along with his motorcycle, was found in the Kallalli stream between Kallalli and Hanamapur villages. Following a complaint lodged by Ismail Jamakhandi, the Mundgod Police registered a case under IPC Section 302.

    Investigations led by PI Siddappa S. Simani resulted in the arrest of Ibrahim, Shareef, and Nazia on January 2, 2022. A chargesheet was filed on April 1, 2022, and after prolonged trial (Sessions Case No. 5032/2022), the verdict was pronounced on September 1, 2025, by Judge Kiran Keni.

    Public Prosecutor Rajesh Malagaker represented the State, playing a key role in securing conviction. The investigation team, led by Karwar Superintendent of Police Deepan M.N., with the support of Additional SPs Krishnamurthy G. and Jagadish Naik, DSP Geeta Patil, PI Ranganath Neelammanavar, and police staff, received commendation from the SP for their efforts in ensuring justice.

  • Bhatkal: Police Arrest Attempted Murder Accused Within 12 Hours

    Bhatkal, August 24, 2025 – Bhatkal Town Police arrested Akbar Ahmed, aged 33, within 12 hours of an attempted murder incident reported on August 24, 2025, at 1:20 PM in a local market. The complainant, Mohammad Haneef, a 38-year-old fruit vendor from Badriya Colony, Taggaragoda Jali, Bhatkal, reported that Akbar, residing near Ismail Welding Garage in Firdosnagar, Bhatkal (originally from Kallakall Oni, Hanagal, Haveri), attacked Ibrahim (Janata Plot, Bhatkal) with a knife. The incident stemmed from a business dispute over fruit boxes, escalating into a heated argument. Akbar, enraged, verbally abused Ibrahim and attempted to stab him in the stomach, but Ibrahim dodged, sustaining a stab wound to his waist.

    A case was registered at Bhatkal Town Police Station under Crime No. 100/2025, citing Section 109 (attempt to murder, punishable by up to seven years) and Section 352 (criminal force with intent to cause injury) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. A special team, led by Police Inspector Divakar P.M. and PSIs Naveen S. Naik and Timmappa S., conducted a swift investigation, apprehending Akbar and placing him in judicial custody.

    The operation was guided by Superintendent of Police Deepan M.N. (IPS) and Deputy Superintendent Mahesh M.K., with support from constables Dinesh Naik, Vinayak Patil, Devu Naik, Mahantesh Hiremath, Kashinath Kotagunasi, and technical staff Baban and Uday Gunaga.   • Renukaswamy Murder Case: Actor Darshan, Pavithra Gowda Arrested After Supreme Court Cancels Bail

    Bengaluru, August 14, 2025 – Following the Supreme Court’s decision to cancel the bail granted to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, Pavithra Gowda, and other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, Bengaluru police took both Darshan and Pavithra into custody on August 14, 2025. Pavithra Gowda was arrested by Annapoorneshwari Nagar police in the afternoon, while Darshan was apprehended near an apartment in Hosakerehalli, Bengaluru. Arrangements are being made to bring Darshan to the Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station.

    The Supreme Court bench, comprising Justices J.B. Pardiwala and R. Mahadevan, overturned the Karnataka High Court’s bail order of December 13, 2024, criticizing it as riddled with “serious infirmities” and resembling a pre-trial acquittal. The court emphasized that “all are equal before the law” and cancelled the bail due to the potential risk of the accused influencing witnesses and derailing justice. The bench ordered immediate arrests and directed the trial to proceed expeditiously.

    The Renukaswamy murder case came to light on June 9, 2024, when the body of 33-year-old Renukaswamy from Chitradurga was found near a stormwater drain in Sumanahalli, Bengaluru. Police allege that Renukaswamy was abducted, tortured, and killed for sending obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda, a close associate of Darshan. In September 2024, Bengaluru police filed a 3,991-page chargesheet, naming Pavithra Gowda as accused number one and Darshan as accused number two, along with 15 others. The investigation revealed that the victim was held in a shed for three days before his death.

  • Renukaswamy Murder Case: Supreme Court Cancels Bail of Actor Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and Other Accused

    New Delhi, August 14, 2025: The Supreme Court, in a significant ruling, set aside the Karnataka High Court’s order granting bail to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, actress Pavithra Gowda, and five other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. The bench, comprising Justices J.B. Pardiwala and R. Mahadevan, delivered the verdict on an appeal filed by the Karnataka government challenging the High Court’s December 13, 2024, bail order. The court cited the risk of witness tampering and the seriousness of the crime as key reasons for the cancellation.

    The case pertains to the brutal murder of 33-year-old Renukaswamy from Chitradurga, who was allegedly abducted, tortured, and killed in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024, after sending inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda.     ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಂತೆ, ಶನಿವಾರ, ಜುಲೈ 12 ರಂದು ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದ ಪುಡು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ (34) ಎಂಬಾತನನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸದ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ತನಿಖೆಯು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಂತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ, ಜುಲೈ 12, 2025: ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ (ಕ್ರೈಂ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 35/2025) ನಾಟಕೀಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ, ಜುಲೈ 11 ರಂದು ಎರಡು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ತನಿಖೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ತನಿಖೆಯು ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ತನಿಖೆಯು ಎಐ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ರಚಿತವಾದ ಸುಳ್ಳು ವಿಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬರ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

    ವಕೀಲರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ

    ಮೊದಲ ತನಿಖೆಯು ದೂರುದಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ವಕೀಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವಕೀಲರು ಜುಲೈ 11 ರಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಹಲವಾರು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳು ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳ ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇವು ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಿರಬಹುದೇ ಎಂದು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

    ಎರಡನೇ ತನಿಖೆಯು ಕೆಲವು ಗುಂಪುಗಳಿಂದ—ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರು—ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ತನಿಖಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲು ಅಥವಾ ವಿಶೇಷ ತನಿಖಾ ತಂಡ (ಎಸ್‌ಐಟಿ) ರಚನೆಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಒತ್ತಾಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಒತ್ತಾಯಗಳು ದೂರುದಾರರ ಕಾನೂನು ತಂಡದ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರುದಾರರ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ನಿಲುವು ಏನು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದು ತನಿಖೆಯ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಎಐ-ರಚಿತ ಸುಳ್ಳು ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಾಗಿ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬರ್‌ಗೆ ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್

    ಸಮಾನಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಭೀರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ, ಸಮೀರ್ ಎಂ.ಡಿ. ಎಂಬ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬರ್‌ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಎಐ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ರಚಿತವಾದ ಸುಳ್ಳು ವಿಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆತನ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬ್ ಚಾನೆಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾದ ಈ ವಿಡಿಯೋವು ಕಾಲ್ಪನಿಕ ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ದೂರುದಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ವಿಕೃತ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಅಥವಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಗಲಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ, ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 42/2025 ರಡಿ ಹೊಸ ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಂಹಿತೆ (ಬಿಎನ್‌ಎಸ್) 2023 ರ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕಲಂಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ:

    • ಕಲಂ 192: ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಮಾಹಿತಿ
    • ಕಲಂ 240: ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಅಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು
    • ಕಲಂ 353(1)(ಬಿ): ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಪಡಿಸುವಿಕೆ

    ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ

    ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಎರಡೂ ತನಿಖೆಗಳು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ತಪ್ಪು ಅಥವಾ ಎಐ-ರಚಿತ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ರಚಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಹರಡುವ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    “ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳಾದ ಎಐ ಬಳಸಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಅಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವುದು ಗಂಭೀರ ಅಪರಾಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ನಾವು ತುರ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಭೀರತೆಯಿಂದ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹಿರಿಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ (ಜೂ. 30) ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆತಂಕ ವಾತಾವರಣ ತಿಳಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹ-ತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ಆತಂಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ.ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಸುಹಾಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹತ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆರಳಿದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರ, ದ್ವೇಷ ಭಾಷಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಸಂಘರ್ಷದ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳು ಸೃಷಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ನಡುವೆ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಹ-ತ್ಯೆಯೂ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ಚುರುಕುಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮತ್ತೊರ್ವ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ್ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 9ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಕಳೆದ ಮೇ.27ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ್ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಹ-ತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಈವರೆಗೆ 9 ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 9ನೇ ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದ ತುಂಬೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶಿವಪ್ರಸಾದ್. 33 ವರ್ಷದ ಶಿವಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಹ-ತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಆರೋಪ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದ ರಾಯಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಆರೋಪಿ ಶಿವಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮನವಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಕಸ್ಟಡಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

    ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ: ಕುಷ್ಟಗಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ತಾವರಗೇರಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೇಕರಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವಾದದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕೊಲೆ ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನಪ್ಪ ನಾರಿನಾಳ (35) ಎಂಬ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಘಟನೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 31/05/2025ರ ಶನಿವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.

    ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಚೆನ್ನಪ್ಪ ನಾರಿನಾಳ ಮತ್ತು ರವಿ ನಾರಿನಾಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಆಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವೈಮನಸ್ಸು ಇತ್ತು. ಈ ವಿವಾದವು ಶನಿವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಜಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ರವಿ ನಾರಿನಾಳ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಸಹಚರರು ಚೆನ್ನಪ್ಪನವರನ್ನು ಮಚ್ಚಿನಿಂದ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯು ಬೇಕರಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಡಾ. ರಾಮ್ ಎಲ್ ಅರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಏಳು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ತನಿಖಾ ತಂಡಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಈ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ತಾವರಗೇರಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತನಿಖೆ ಚುರುಕುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

    ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 01, 2025: ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಷನ್ಸ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಶನಿವಾರ, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 27 ರಂದು ಕುಡುಪು ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇರಳ ಮೂಲದ ಅಶ್ರಫ್‌ನ ಗುಂಪು ಹತ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆ. ಸುಶಾಂತ್‌ಗೆ ಜಾಮೀನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

    ಜಾಮೀನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಪದೋಷಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕಳವಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿತು. ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಳಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಆರಂಭಿಕ ದೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರದಿಯ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಸಮಂಜಸತೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣವೆಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ವಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ತನಿಖೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿವೆ. ಈ ಆರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೂವರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಲೋಪದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಮಾನತುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಗುಂಪು ಹತ್ಯೆಯ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳ ವೀಡಿಯೊಗಳು ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು, ಇದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರೆಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದವು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿವೆ.
